[Rom I500USEH09] Verizon Samsung Facsinate Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread Firmware
The firmware update for the original Samsung Galaxy S model for Verizon Wireless, known as the Fascinate leaks a few days ago. Some devs and beta testers have already tested the said firmware which has a build number of I500USEH09 and it's packed in Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with dated build as of August 6 2011. Samfirmware managed to released the leak here and as far as I am concern that this ROM is for dev's only. According to some testers that the said leak ROM will definitely broke the system data of your device and need to do an EN swap. They already warn others not to flash it directly to a Verizon Samsung Facsinate phone.
But unfortunately a developer from XDA-developer with user named ccampos784 managed to re-build the said firmware and called it The Gingerbread Version of PowerWashed that is based from said EH09 previously leaked.
One of the coolest feature in this ROm is the option to turn on/off mobile data from the pull down screen.
Any way, if you want to give it try on your Samsung Facsinate, you may just head over in the developers thread at XDA.
But unfortunately a developer from XDA-developer with user named ccampos784 managed to re-build the said firmware and called it The Gingerbread Version of PowerWashed that is based from said EH09 previously leaked.
ROM brief Information:
This is the recent ACG/USCC EH09 leak/build for the Mesmerize that has been debloated and tweaked for use on our beloved VZW Fascinates. The two phones are similar enough that the software is interchangeable with a few edits. This ROM leaves everything mostly stock, but it improves what has to be improved and it includes other mods as well to improve your experience.

1. Install complete firmware XXKPE.
2. Install my rom in PDA section of ODIN. No need CFRoot, integrate in my rom.
3. When finish my rom go device in Recovery, you need to delete dalvik cache and cache (not need factory reset).
Using 1.3 since yesterday morning and everything works great. Battery life is very good with data connection always up (way more than a day of use).

- Wifi and gps work perfect
- camera works fine
- the more i see the theme the more i love it
- needed to push gmail to system apps to make it work, simply installed from market gmaps (i suggest to keep it in ROM most of users need them)
- did not tweak anything about graphics performance
- converted to ext4 (i suggest to make it default )
- pushed new market to system apps as also social hub and im (do not push email.apk from sgsII it FC)
- installed Vlingo, now from market (it's the free version of the branded voicecommand of sgsII) and works great
- installed flash player (i suggest keeping it by default) but sometime when i browse with firefox and even maxthon, it is not recognized it and they warn that a plugin is needed

XXKG6 based Custom ROM: TOUCH X 3.2 PERFORMANCE - Battery friendly for the Galaxy S II
